My family is a team
We have a high score game
We score every time we kneel and pray
We get points for Family Home Evening, yay!
Believing in Christ makes us strong
That is faith and it’s how we play
We say sorry and that’s ok
We stick together that’s how we play
The Savior’s our coach
He shows us the way
Dad is our captain
He takes the lead
Mom is our nurse
She soothes all our cares
We work together
We practice we play
It’s a lot of work
But we’re winners!

Lost and Found
My head knows it
My heart feels untouched
My mind knows the way
But I can’t seem to find it
Why do I founder
Alone and in pain
When my source of peace
And abundant relief
Lies just over there
Within my sight
Yet the way is hidden
Though there is light
I cannot share a part
Then a voice
Cuts through the dark
An angel voice
That warms a heart
Sent to find
His lonely sheep
That lost in the field
Forgot to bleat
And yet He sends her
Forth to save
To lead me back
Toward the blaze
To remember to recall
The path, the way.
The how to hold
The light within,
My heart to warm.
The subtle peace
Through daily chores
And then awakening
My heart remembered
What my mind
Had never lost
